Who We Are
We are an ad hoc group of San Jose citizens from multiple Council Districts who have been engaged for some time now in moving forward an initiative to shift from gas-powered leaf blowers to electric throughout San Jose.
Our Goal
With your support. we intend to engage with our San Jose City Council Members with the goal of crafting an ordinance to make this City Policy effective January 1, 2026. We believe that it is the right time to push this effort forward and have San Jose join over 20 other Bay Area cities (examples include Oakland, Los Gatos, Los Altos, Palo Alto, Burlingame, Pleasanton, Alameda), and Counties (Santa Cruz), and over 50 California cities & counties (examples include Newport Beach, Santa Barbara, Sant Monica).
